Step by step

Step 1 of 4

Prepare the cavity by removing the carious tissue only. There is no need for retentions given that the cement adheres to the dental structure very well.

Step 2 of 4

Etching with polyacrylic acid (the actual Maxxion R fluid) for 10 seconds is recommended prior to insertion of the restorative material. After etching, rinse abundantly and dry the cavity carefully to prevent dehydration.

Step 3 of 4

The recommended rate is one shallow measure of powder to 1 drop of liquid. Prior to taking the desired quantities, shake both bottles vigorously. Initially, mix half of the powder with the liquid, and add gradually the remaining of the mixture, until obtaining a homogeneous paste.

Step 4 of 4

Apply the product to the cavity while the mixture is still shiny. After 4 to 6 minutes, the product will cure, and the excess will be removed with suitable instruments.
