A contemporary composite.
One concept, many possibilities.

Elóra APS is a nanohybrid composite resin that combines versatility and high esthetics, offering the ideal balance to solve daily clinical demands of practical and efficient way.

Its current shade system provides simplification and predictability to restorative procedures. Elóra APS has options for putty for dentin, body and enamel, offering natural esthetic results.

The combination of the APS system, combined with the composition and distribution particle size, was carefully designed to off er resistance and optical properties that reproduce the natural teeth.

Surprising result using only Elóra APS composite, in shade A2.

The balance between efficiency and naturalness

With Elóra APS, achieving high esthetics is simple and effective.
Its specially formulated composition features an updated and optimized shade system that delivers amazing results, with translucency and optical properties balanced to natural teeth.

System with different translucity levels

Clinical tip

WE

The achromatic enamel resin can be used, depending on the type of restoration, as palatal and vestibular enamel, or only as vestibular enamel (as, for example, in cases of veneers).

TRANS

The most translucent enamel resin from the Elóra APS system is used to reproduce effects in specific areas, such as incisors and proximal areas.

DENTIN

Resins with lower degree of translucency, indicated for use as fi rst layer in reproduction of dentin.

BODY

Resins with medium translucency, which can be used as layer intermediate or single layer, reproducing both enamel and dentin.

ENAMEL EFFECT

Enamel resins can be used as the fi rst and last layer in restoration.

Technology for high esthetic results

Elóra APS is a radiopaque resin that combines a high-performance monomeric composition and a new combination of fi llers, with a wide distribution of sizes for greater densifi cation, forming the Optimized Filler Distribution technology.

Promoting the optimization of the distribution and densifi cation of loads from 0.02 to 0.7 microns in the polymer.

Excellent Handling

The balance of the resin composition Elóra APS optimizes the viscosity of the product while being sculpted, resulting in a consistency that is easy and pleasant to handle, does not stick to the spatula, and easily conforms to the surface.

These features make polishing the resin simple and achieve excellent surface shine.

Elóra APS was the ONLY one to not show an increase in surface roughness after brushing simulated when compared to competing composite resins.

Elóra APS presented the HIGHEST Knopp microhardness values (surface and bottom), with statistically SUPERIOR results when compared to composite resins evaluated competitors.

Benefits in clinical routine

In practice, these characteristics result in greater resistance of the restorative material to wear and abrasion, which contributes to the longevity of the restoration. Furthermore, the resins with these properties, such as Elóra APS, tend to better preserve the shine and smoothness over time, ensuring longer-lasting esthetics

Flexural strength is a mechanical property that allows evaluating the resistance of composites to fracture. Elóra APS presented a high flexural strength value, very above the pre-established standard for composites, positioning it among the best resins market composites.

Benefits in clinical routine

In practice, it is fundamental to select materials with adequate mechanical strength, such as Elóra APS, especially for teeth subjected to high masticatory loads, such as occlusal surfaces in posterior teeth and incisal edges in anterior teeth. In this sense, flexural strength reflects the quality of the composite formed after polymerization, resulting from the interaction between the polymeric matrix, the types of loads used, and the efficiency of photoinitiators in converting monomers into polymers.

"The new Elóra APS composite resin demonstrated excellent values in terms of mechanical properties when compared to their competitors, as a result of its high degree of conversion and the mix of particles of charge present in the composition of this material."
