Wīt HP AutoMixx
Hydrogen peroxide whitening gel at 6% and 35% for in-office use.
- Self-mixing system
- Single application per session
- Contains calcium: maintains the integrity of enamel
Benefits
- Single application per session: The product may be kept up to 50 minutes in contact with the teeth without having to be changed, since the pH remains neutral and stable during the whole session.
- Cost reduction: The remaining content can be stored and used later.
- No color change: The product has bluish-green color and does not change color during the process, thus facilitating visual control.
- Easy to Handle: The phases are mixed via a self-mixing tip and the product is released ready for use, with no need for manual manipulation.
- Contains calcium: Improves enamel microhardness against demineralization and keeps the enamel integrity during the whitening process.
- With heat blocker: In cases when the professional desires to use some sort of light source, the heat blocker prevents the heat generated by these sources from reaching the pulp, preventing hypersensitivity.
Recommendations
- Whitening of vital and non-vital teeth using the in-office whitening technique.

Step 4 of 9
With the auto mixing tip coupled to the double-body syringe that contains the whitening gel, press the plunger until the phases (peroxide and thickener) are slowly mixed. A small quantity of gel should be dispensed into a container prior to applying the product to the patient’s teeth. It will assure that the applied product is properly homogenized.

Step 5 of 9
Directly apply the gels to the teeth to be whitened, generally from the 1st or 2nd premolars to the other. Cover the vestibular face of the teeth with a gel layer as thin as possible, using the auto mixing tip to spread the product. The gel may be extended to the small incisive/occlusal surface area of the teeth. If you wish to use a light source device, start using it shortly after applying the gel. For each equipment, there is a specific protocol of light exposure time. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the light application time, however, observe the time protocol to apply the product onto the teeth.

Step 6 of 9
After applied, the gel must be left in contact with the teeth for up to 50 minutes, during which the professional may move the gel with a probe or disposable micro applicator, such as Cavibrush (FGM), in order to remove the air bubbles and renew the contact between gel and teeth. There is no need to change the gel during the session. Note: application times for whiteners are only suggested and must be managed by the professional. Shorter times or treatment interruptions may occur in cases of dental hypersensitivity.
