This clinical case of ceramic veneers represents the transformative result of the smile in maxillary central incisors.<\/p>\n

FEMALE PATIENT, 26 YEARS OLD<\/p>\n

The patient was dissatisfied with the shape and volume of the central incisors.<\/p>\n

Initial evaluation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The patient underwent a detailed anamnesis and clinical examination, and no pathological changes were observed. In the clinical examination, the integrity of the periodontal tissues and the absence of cervical and occlusal carious lesions in both the anterior and posterior teeth were observed.<\/p>\n

She had two composite resin restorations with little shine and no aesthetics in the two central incisors and little expression of the incisors.<\/p>\n

Treatment performed<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At the initial visit, intra- and extraoral photographs were taken. The patient complained of lackluster restorations and teeth with little volume in both central incisors. The mockup was performed from wax-up using PrimmaArt<\/strong> <\/a>bisacrylic resin in color B1. Preparations were made on the mockup for greater control of dental wear. After the preparations were completed, the molding and color selection of the substrates were performed.<\/p>\n

The wear was very conservative, so it was decided not to place a provisional restoration. Feldspathic porcelain veneers were made on refractories. The preparations were cleaned, and the veneers were dried to evaluate the adaptation, and then the Allcem Veneer Try-in<\/strong> <\/a>paste was used in E-Bleach M color to evaluate the final color. For cementation, absolute isolation was performed, and before the adhesive procedure, the veneers were tested again.<\/p>\n

The teeth were etched with Condac 37<\/strong><\/a> for 15 seconds, taking care to protect the neighboring teeth with a polyester strip. The acid was washed and thoroughly dried with light blasting of air, and a thin application of Ambar APS<\/strong><\/a> adhesive was applied over the preparations. Allcem Veneer APS<\/strong><\/a> cement in E-Bleach M shade was applied to the inside of the veneers and taken into position without photoactivating the adhesive on the dental element.<\/p>\n

After completely removing the excess cement with brush and floss, the veneers were polymerized on each face for 40 seconds. For better finishing in the cervical region of the veneers, a number 12 scalpel blade was used. After removal of absolute isolation, occlusal contacts were evaluated, and the patient was scheduled 15 days after cementation for postoperative evaluation.<\/p>\n
